Download the Plugin

Navigate to the Cybersource Payment Gateway listed on the WooCommerce marketplace.

You will need to purchase the plugin to be installed on your website using WooCommerce.
Once purchased, you will be able to download this as a .zip file.

Install the Plugin

Now that you have downloaded the plugin code from the Marketplace it's time to upload it into your WooCommerce instance.

a.       Sign in to your WooCommerce Back Office

b.       Access 'Plugins'

c.       Select 'Add New'

d.       Select 'Upload', and select the .zip file you have downloaded.

Please note that the usage of community or non-default themes may compromise the functionality of this plugin. Please consider updating your Wordpress configuration to use default templates and themes during integration and testing of this plugin in the event you encounter any issues.

Configure the Plugin

Once the plugin has completed installation, you are now able to begin configuration.  To access Configuration from the main dashboard go to:

Plugins -> Select "WooCommerce Cybersource Gateway" -> Choose "Configure Credit Cards"

Copy the Shared Secret and Key from Step 1, and add these to the plugin settings along with your Smartpay Fuse MID.

• Enable / Disable: Allow customers to use this gateway to process credit cards at checkout.

• Title: The text shown for the payment during checkout and on the Order Received page.
  

• Description: The text shown under the gateway’s title during checkout. Limited HTML is allowed. If you enable test mode, this section will also display a notice along with test credit card numbers.
  

• Card Verification (Card Security Code/CSC): Display the card security/verification code field at checkout.
  

              -Saved Card Verification: Display the card security/verification code field when using a saved card at checkout.

• Transaction Type: Controls how transactions are submitted to Smartpay Fuse. Select “Charge” to automatically capture payments. If you select “Authorization”, you must manually capture and settle payments in your Smartpay Fuse account or on the WooCommerce orders screen after the transaction has been submitted. This defaults to “Charge”.
  

              -Charge Virtual-Only Orders: If Transaction Type is set to “Authorization”, enable this to automatically capture charges for orders with only virtual products. For downloadable products, this will grant downloads access right away.

             -Capture Paid Orders: If Transaction Type is set to “Authorization”, enable this to automatically capture charges when orders move to a paid status.

• Accepted Card Logos: Determines which card logos are displayed during checkout. This has no impact on which cards are accepted by your merchant account.
  

• Tokenization: Let customers save their payment methods for future use at checkout. You will not be able to process Subscriptions or Pre-Orders, or use the Flex MIcroForm unless this is enabled.
  

              -Tokenization Profile ID: The value for this field will need to be supplied by our support team. Please email [email protected] with your Smartpay Fuse MID, requesting your Token vault ID. 

• Detailed Decline Messages: Display detailed messages to customers to provide reasoning for declines instead of a generic error message when possible. Click here to read more about detailed decline messages.

• Debug Mode: Enable when you’re having issues processing transactions. You can choose to log API requests directly on the checkout page, save them to the WooCommerce > Status > Logs page, or both. As a best practice, please do not enable this setting unless you’re having issues with the plugin.

• Environment: Switch between “Test” and “Production” credentials. Enable “Test” to send transactions to your Smartpay Fuse Test Account.
  

• Merchant ID: The ID assigned to you by Smartpay Fuse, which you use to log into the Enterprise Business Centre.

• API Key Detail: Obtained in Step 1.
  

• API Shared Secret Key: Obtained in Step 1.

• Flex MicroForm: This is the Smartpay Fuse solution for Hosted Fields, ensuring thar card information is not captured directly on your servers. You will need to ensure Tokenization is enabled above to use this functionality.
• Enable 3D-Secure: Enable to ensure your transactions to go through 3DSecure processing
• Enable Fraud Management: Enable this to ensure your transactions are fraud checked, and halted if necessary.

To enable GooglePay, navigate to WooCommerce > Settings > Payments > Google Pay and select the Accept Google Pay setting.

You can then update other settings to determine how and where the Google Pay buttons appear on your site.

If you have enabled Fraud Management in your Extension Settings, Decision Manager will be utilised.
Once enabled, your account will approve, hold, or reject orders based on your Decision Manager fraud settings:

• Approved orders will go directly to Processing status.
• Held orders will go to On Hold status until they are reviewed and approved or rejected in your Smartpay Fuse dashboard.
• Rejected orders will go to Failed status, with more details available in the order notes.

 

Note: If your Transaction Type setting is set to “Authorize”, your approved orders (whether approved directly or approved after review in Decision Manager) will go to On Hold status until you manually capture them in WooCommerce.

Your account will check for updates to orders in Decision Manager every 15 minutes, so you may notice a slight delay between when an order is approved or rejected in the Smartpay Fuse dashboard and when the order is updated in WooCommerce. If you need to trigger the check right away, you can do so by follow these steps:

1. Go to Tools > Scheduled Actions > Pending.
2. Find the wc_Cybersource_update_orders action. 
3. Click the Run action.
