Usable with your Smartpay Fuse account, the nopCommerce integration for Cybersource provides you with everything you need to accept payments securely on the nopCommerce platform.

Built on our latest REST API's and utilzing our Flex Microform solution the integration allows you to process credit cards in a PCI-A compliant solution removing complex overheads for your business whilst maintaining full control over your website.

Getting started

Obtaining, installing and configuring your nopCommerce plugin.

Smartpay Fuse has been created in partnership with VISA Cybersource. All features listed on this page are supported on the Smartpay Fuse platform. When you click through to download the plugin you may notice reference to the Cybersource brand and see some features that are not part of the Smartpay Fuse gateway. If you have any questions about this plugin or its feature set then please don’t hesitate to Get in Contact.

Prerequisite – Have access to your Smartpay Fuse account

You will be able to configure this integration to either Test or Live. If you do not yet have a live Smartpay Fuse account, or you wish to first test the integration, then creating a sandbox account will not only allow you to start programmatic integration but also provides access to the Enterprise Business Centre servicing portal.

  1. Visit our sandbox creation page here.
  2. Complete the registration form.
  3. Click submit to create your sandbox account.

Note: on submitting your application, you will receive an automated email from our partner, Cybersource, with first time login and password reset instructions. Be sure to check your junk mailbox if this doesn’t arrive within 2 minutes of clicking Submit.

Create REST Keys

a.       Sign into your account (Live) or (Test)

b.       Access Payment Configuration -> Key Management

c.       Select the 'Generate Key' button in the top right hand corner

d.       Select your key type as 'REST - Shared Secret Key' and Generate Key

e.       Copy your KeyID and Shared Secret Key values and save them securely

Installation

This section explains the steps involved installing the Payment method in the nopCommerce back end.

First, obtain the official Smartpay Fuse plugin from nopCommerce ensuring you save the zip file locally.

  1. Download the plugin archive.
  2. Go to admin area > configuration > local plugins.
  3. Upload the plugin archive using the "Upload plugin or theme" plugin.
  4. Scroll down through the list of plugins to find the newly installed plugin. And click on the "Install" button to install the plugin.

 

Configuration - Plugin Settings General Configuration

This section provides the details about the steps for configuring the high level Merchant configuration:

a.  In the Back Office, click on the “Configuration” menu and select “Payment Methods”.

b. Select the Config icon beside the Smartpay Fuse option.

d. Under the configuration menu, configure the below as required

  • Sandbox - Enable to specifically target your Test account
  • Merchant ID - Enter your Smartpay Fuse merchant ID
  • Key ID - enter the Key ID created in Step 1
  • Secret Key - enter the Secret key created in Step 1
  • Enable Tokenization - Allow cardholders to store customer information
  • Payment connection method - Use the Smartpay Fuse managed hosted payment fields (Flex Microform), or submit card details to the payment platform directly (REST API). We recommend using the Flex Microform to ensure cardholder security.
  • Enable Payer Authentication - set to Enabled. This is a card scheme requirement for most relevant global markets.
  • Transaction type - Authorize payments only, or Authorize and Capture in one (Sale).
  • CVV required - set to Enabled. This is a card scheme requirement for most relevant global markets.
  • AVS action type - Determine how transactions should be handled in the event that the card issuer returns a not OK response for the AVS (address) check.
  • CVN action type - Determine how transactions should be handled in the event that the card issuer returns a not OK response for the CVV check.
  • Enable Decision Manager - Enable if your Smartpay Fuse account is configured to use Decision Manager.
  • Enable On-Demand Conversion Detail Report - If using Decision Manager, this will allow you to manually review orders in the Enterprise Business Centre, and your orders in nopCommerce will automatically update.
  • Report download frequency - Set a time in minutes to configure the frequency of these reports.

e.   Click the save icon.

Configuration - Credit Card

To access Credit Card configuration log into OpenCart Back Office -> Extensions -> Extensions.  Then select "Payments" under Extension Type -> Select Smartpay Fuse Credit Card -> Edit

This section provides the configurations for Payment Card specific settings, the below settings are available to edit:

  • Payment Action - Authorize/Sale, Authorize will immediately ring fence funds in customers account if successful a capture will need to be run at time of fulfilment to fully obtain funds. Sale will authorize and capture funds immediately.
  • Payer Authentication - Enable/Disable set to enable if you are required to process customers through Strong Customer Authentication (3-D Secure)
  • Status - Enable/Disable (Set to enable to allow Card Payments)
  • Sort Order - only needed to change sort order of plugin visibility
  • Tokenization - Enable/Disable, when set to enabled logged in customers will be able to store their cards for future use n.b. requires tokenization to be enabled on your Smartpay Fuse account
  • Limit Saved Card Rate - Simple fraud tool to limit the number of cards a customer can save in an hour to prevent card enumeration attacks
  • Enforce Strong Customer Authentication - When Payer Authentication is enabled every customer will be challenged, this may be required in some geographies

Configuration - eCheck

To access eCheck configuration log into OpenCart Back Office -> Extensions -> Extensions.  Then select "Payments" under Extension Type -> Select Smartpay Fuse eCheck -> Install (1st time only) -> Edit

This section provides the configurations for eCheck specific settings, the below settings are available to edit:

Status - Enable (must be enabled to be visible in checkout)
Sort Order - Set to control display order in checkout
