Getting started

Obtaining and configuring your Salesforce Billing plugin


Smartpay Fuse has been created in partnership with VISA Cybersource. All features listed on this page are supported on the Smartpay Fuse platform. When you click through to download the plugin you may notice reference to the Cybersource brand and see some features that are not part of the Smartpay Fuse gateway. If you have any questions about this plugin or its feature set then please don’t hesitate to Get in Contact.

Prerequisite – Have access to your Smartpay Fuse account

You will be able to configure this integration to either Test or Live. If you do not yet have a live Smartpay Fuse account, or you wish to first test the integration, then creating a sandbox account will not only allow you to start programmatic integration but also provides access to the Enterprise Business Centre servicing portal.

  1. Visit our sandbox creation page here.
  2. Complete the registration form.
  3. Click submit to create your sandbox account.


Note: on submitting your application, you will receive an automated email from our partner, Cybersource, with first time login and password reset instructions. Be sure to check your junk mailbox if this doesn’t arrive within 2 minutes of clicking Submit.

Install CPQ and Billing; please see below for more details:

 

Prerequisite - Smartpay Fuse

Create REST Keys (required for Microform)

a.       Sign into your account (Live) or (Test)

b.       Access Payment Configuration -> Key Management

c.       Select the 'Generate Key' button in the top right hand corner

d.       Select your key type as 'REST - Shared Secret Key' and Generate Key

e.       Copy your KeyID and Shared Secret Key values and save them securely

 

 

Install the managed packaged from the Salesforce AppExchange (https://appexchange.salesforce.com/appxListingDetail?listingId=a0N4V00000G2HK9UAN&tab=e)

Assign Cybersource Permission Sets and Layouts

The Cybersource package comes with two permission sets

Cybersource Admin User: Assign this permission set to Admin user who would be managing the key management of Cybersource managed package.

Cybersource Billing User: Assign this permission to all the users who would be doing payment processing.

Assign the Cybersource Gateway Layout of the Payment Gateway object to the user profile that manages the Cybersource key management

1. Go to Setup by clicking the gear on the right-side top.

2. Click Object Manager and go to Payment Gateway (blng__PaymentGateway__c) object detail.

3. Click Page Layouts.

4. Click Page Layout Assignment.

5. Click Edit Assignment to assign the Cybersource Gateway Layout to appropriate profile.

Add a new picklist value and create the Payment Gateway

1. Go to Setup by clicking the gear on the right-side top.

2. Click Object Manager and go to Payment Gateway (blng__PaymentGateway__c) object detail.

3. Click Fields and Relationships.

4. Click Gateway Type (blng__GatewayType__c).

5. Click View Gateway Type Value Set under Values section.

6. Click New under Values.

7. Enter “Cybersource Payments” and click Save.

a. Click on App Launcher > Payment Gateways. (blng__PaymentGateway__c)

b. Click new and enter the following details:

· Payment Gateway Name

· Smartpay Fuse Merchant ID

· Gateway Type – value Cybersource Payments

· Endpoint (test/production)

· Active

· Default

· Key ID

· Shared Secret

Configure the Payment Methods

By default the package supports Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover and eCheck/ACH. To add additional card brands, create a custom metadata record.

Ready to Go Live

When you are ready to go live configure the cartridge using your production Smartpay Fuse account details. Please refer to step 4 for a reminder on where to do this.
