MID Structure

A two-level MID hierarchy is used for payment processing and merchant account management.

Account MID
: merchant account level used for single sign-on access to a group of transacting MIDs.

The account MID name always has an

_acct

suffix.

Transacting MID
: MID used to run transactions.
