) allows you to avoid storing card numbers by relying on
Smartpay Fuse
secure vaults.
Token creation is provided via a front-end integration method. In this method, the customer submits their card data directly to
Smartpay Fuse
. Tokens cannot be reversed to reveal the card number.
The
Smartpay Fuse
TMS
allows you to decide which data you want to tokenize.
TMS
securely stores and manages these token types:
  • Instrument identifier
    tokens, which contain Primary Account Number (PAN) information.
  • Payment instrument
    tokens, which contain card type, billing address, expiration date, and PAN information. These tokens are only available via
    .
  • Customer identifier
    tokens, which contain card type, billing address, expiration date, PAN, and shipping address information.
